At Home in Skagit County
Data. Education. Partnership.
Our vision is to see a healthy community that meets the basic need of housing for the
residents it serves. A community where people who work in Skagit County can live in Skagit
County. A place where families can expand and remain in the county that they were raised in
because they can afford the housing that is available. A county where housing supports
economic development rather than limiting it.

When there isn't enough housing, both the number of people experiencing homelessness and the cost of living rise, making it harder for our community to thrive. But how do we determine if there's enough housing?
Each jurisdiction in Skagit County has projected population growth over the next 20 years to identify how much housing is needed across various income levels. These jurisdictions are working to create a plan to ensure there is enough stable and affordable housing for all families in their communities for years to come.
But creating a vibrant, thriving community takes more than planning—it takes community support. Click here to explore upcoming meetings, forums, and ways to get involved in shaping the future of housing in Skagit County.
